Policies

Email & SMS Communications: 

Members will be advised of produce offerings, delivery and billing reminders, order updates, order deadlines, changes to the delivery schedule, substitutions, and general business communications via email. Members agree to receive and read email communications. You may opt-in to SMS updates via your member dashboard. You will receive a SMS delivery confirmation.



Subscriptions & Billing:

Members will be charged for their first farm share and any farmers pantry orders upon signup. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and will continue until a member requests a cancellation. Charges are based on members share size, additions to delivery + home delivery fee. Farmers pantry orders at charged at time of purchase. Members must have a valid payment method on file.  Any changes to your farm share for the coming week must be made prior to the order deadline of 11:00pm Central Time (CT) each Saturday. 

If the member’s payment method fails for any reason, Tomato Mountain Farm reserves the right to hold or donate the member’s farm share.

Donations:

Members may choose to donate their farm share via the member dashboard. Members are billed for donations. Tomato Mountain Farm facilitates the donation of the members farm share to local community organizations. Your donations go directly to community organizations with programs to assist food insecure individuals

Holds:

Members may choose to hold a farm share via the member dashboard. Members are not billed for farm shares that are put on hold. Holds made via the member dashboard must be made by the order deadline, 11:00pm Central Time (CT) each Saturday. Members will be charged in full for holds requested after the order deadline, 11:00pm Central Time (CT) each Saturday. Farm shares will be donated if you are unable to receive delivery.      


Delivery:

Deliveries will be made to the address on file for each member, using the member’s specific delivery instructions. Changes to delivery addresses or delivery instructions must be made prior to order deadline, 11:00pm Central Time (CT) each Saturday. Deliveries may be routed to an alternate address on a case by case basis by contacting support@tomatomountain.com. Arrangements for delivery to an alternate address must be made at least seven (7) days in advance of the date of service. 

Deliveries are made on a recurring basis, and the delivery schedule is location-based. Members will be assigned a delivery day based on their delivery address. Tomato Mountain Farm reserves the right to change or modify the delivery schedule or a member’s delivery day at will, either for a specific one-time circumstance, or permanently. 

Coolers & Box Returns:

Tomato Mountain Farm transports farm shares in reusable waxed boxes and requires all members to leave out a labeled cooler (first & last initial, Tomato Mountain) for their delivery. If a member is unable to leave out a labeled cooler, the member must return the waxed boxes each week. Failure to do so may result in additional fees in the amount of $3.00 per box. 


Refunds:

Refunds will not be issued for farm shares. It is the member’s responsibility to either donate or place a hold on their share no later than the order deadline, each Saturday at 11:00pm Central Time (CT). Items that arrive damaged are eligible for credit and/or replacement. 


Substitutions:

Members acknowledge that the availability of seasonal produce is unpredictable and may change based on many variables. Tomato Mountain reserves the right to substitute items as necessary.

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

The email address you provide for order processing will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.
